Services

To use our services, client software must be downloaded and installed on the computer to be backed up.  This "Client" is what communicates to the data servers. 

Unlike other online services, our client includes features that allow you to create copies of data sets, or back data up to a locally attached CD/DVD or network drive or an external hard drive.  It also includes a feature to create a special "disaster Recovery" disk.

Other backup features include: Open file backup, Active Directory, Certificate Services, Cluster Services. Com+ Databases, Registry, SQL, Exchange and the system volume.  Not all customers need these features, but they are there if needed.

All data is encrypted and compressed before being transmitted to our servers.  It remains encrypted and compressed while stored on our servers.

Billing

Billing is on a monthly basis.  Invoices are sent out on the first of each month for the prior months usage.  Annual billing is available on block plans only.

Licensing

The client is licensed on a per machine basis.  If the client is installed on a networked computer, the client can backup data on other networked drives, but a license is required for each unique machine. The monthly license fee is $5.00.

Storage Fee

Each licensed client is billed monthly for the compressed storage used during the billing month. 

Pricing

As You Grow Plan

As You Grow Plans are not limited by a quote or specific storage limit.  They allow your server storage to grow with your backup needs without having to worry about exceeding a quote limit. 

As you Grow Plans are priced at $2.00 per Gigabit compressed.

    Example:  1 Client = $5.00 + 5 GB @ $2.00 ea = $15.00

Block Storage Plan

Block Plans are sold in specific storage quantities or blocks of compressed storage space.  These plans can be billed monthly or annually.  Annual payment receives one month free.

The Client software will notify you when you approach your storage limit and will allow a percentage over your plan before suspending your account.

On-Site Services

We offer on-site services for those customers that may not feel comfortable installing software or lack a dedicated IT staff for such tasks.  Services include:

• Installation and setup of the software client.
• Initial Backup of data for pre-loading on the storage server
• Creation and delivery of self restoring data recover disks
• Other IT related tasks (please call for more information)

On site services are offered to customers within our service area which includes Orange County California and surrounding areas.  Please call for rates.

Hardware Specs

• Pentium III or higher CPU, Minimum 512 MB Ram, 2000MB hard drive plus storage for backups, etc.  Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher. 
• For local backup: Storage device (hard drive, removable media, CD-R/W, DVD-R/W, DVD+R/W, DVD Ram, DVD+R Dual Layer, DVD-R dual layer or magnetic tape).
• For image Disaster Recover Disk: Bootable CD/DVD recorder and CD/DCVD media and one of the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008, VISTA or Windows 7.
